Pasadena City Council approves modified ‘Soft Story’ retrofit ordinance

Norwalk hit with a 3.3 earthquake

An earthquake hit Norwalk around 1:51 am with a magnitude of 3.3. According to the USGS, the epicenter was two miles from Artesia, two miles from Bellflower, and two miles from Cerritos.

Ecuador’s Border with Peru hit by a 7.5 Magnitude earthquake

Six earthquakes rocked the ground across Alaska this morning
