We Need To Bring Greater Resilience To Our Lives and Communities in 2021

With 2020 behind us, we all hope for a better 2021. But as the saying goes, “Those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.”

Disasters we suffered in 2020 were made worse by a lack of preparation. We weren’t ready for the global pandemic or the West’s raging wildfires, disasters stoked by a lack of a strategic, cohesive plan to combat them.

Thankfully, we were spared the devastation of a massive earthquake. But what if it had come? We know it will.

Let’s make 2021 a time to be mindful of the past & to work together to bring resilience to our lives & our communities. Wishing you the very best in the coming year.
