Optimum Seismic, Inc – August 2020 Newsletter
California sits on a precarious web of seismic faults that crisscross our state, building intensity that releases in ground-shattering bursts we call earthquakes. Two independent studies this month show increased risk of a major L.A. earthquake sparked by seismic activity unleashed last year from the Ridgecrest earthquakes. It’s a reminder of how vulnerable our communities really are. In the midst of these unprecedented times, we need to lend a hand to our neighbors. Do your part to support and protect others, and make our cities safer for everyone.
