Celebrating the season of giving
Happy Holidays! This is one of my favorite times of year. Community takes center stage in our lives as we attend school performances, participate in local food drives, and volunteer for charity events.
It always builds a sense of connection for me — and that strengthens the sense of purpose that carries over into our daily interactions with others.
We smile more. Take time to acknowledge one another. We give of our time, our hearts, and whatever resources we can provide to help others.
The entire Optimum Seismic team wishes you and yours the happiest of holiday seasons — as well as joy, peace and good health in the New Year.
Thank you for being a part of our community of friends.

Does earthquake denial make disasters worse?
Many Californians live in earthquake denial. We laugh them off, ignore their ever-present threat to our lives and livelihoods. After all, some reason, we’ve lived through earthquakes before. Why should the next one be different?
The stark reality is that protecting ourselves from earthquakes should be on all of our minds.
