The Trump administration has ordered a rapid deployment of earthquake-detection equipment on federal lands to help West Coast cities prepare for seismic disasters. On Oct. 5 an order by Ryan Zinke was issued and it was obtained by The Wall Street Journal, informing that federal regulations are being streamlined so it can be installed rapidly in national parks and Bureau of Land Management properties near population centers from San Diego to Anchorage, Alaska.
