If you are in San Diego County today at 11 am you will receive Shake Alert at 11 a.m. as part of a test of the California Early Warning Program. Rachel Sierer Wooden with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services said, “It’s going to allow us to reach out and let people know of shaking of an earthquake so that they can take protective action such as dropping, covering, holding on, to try to minimize damage and injury.”
