A 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia’s Sulawesi island. It prompted a tsunami warning that were later lifted. About 310,000 people were within a 62 mile radius of the earthquake center, according to Global Disaster. Since Indonesia is so close “Ring of Fire” earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions are very frequent.
